From Backyard Grills to
West Chicago's Favorite

It all started in 2014 when founder Marcus Webb spent a summer perfecting his grandmother's hot sauce recipe in his backyard in West Chicago. Friends and family couldn't get enough — and word spread fast. Within months, Marcus was catering neighborhood events out of a single smoker and a cooler of sauces.

By 2016, he took the leap and opened the first Wing Snob kitchen on North Ave. The concept was simple: no-compromise chicken wings, handcrafted sauces made from real ingredients, and a bold flavor philosophy that refused to be ordinary. The community responded with lines out the door from day one.

Today, Wing Snob is more than a restaurant — it's a West Chicago institution. We've grown our team, expanded our flavor lineup, and built deep roots in the community. But one thing has never changed: every wing is made with the same obsessive care Marcus put into that first backyard batch.

2014
The Backyard Beginnings

Marcus Webb starts perfecting his family hot sauce recipe in West Chicago. Neighborhood cookouts turn into a local obsession. The Wing Snob concept is born.

2015
First Catering Gigs

Word spreads fast. Marcus begins catering block parties, birthday events, and corporate lunches out of a food cart. The wings sell out every single time.

2016
Wing Snob Opens Its Doors

The first Wing Snob brick-and-mortar opens at 200 W North Ave. Lines stretch around the block on opening day. The restaurant is fully booked within the first week.

2018
Sauce Lab Launched

We open our dedicated Sauce Lab — a space for developing new flavors. Over 40 signature sauces and dry rubs are perfected here, becoming fan favorites across the menu.

2020
Delivery & Online Ordering

Wing Snob launches contactless delivery and online ordering, bringing handcrafted wings to customers across West Chicago and surrounding areas — hot, fresh, and on time.

2022
Community Milestones

We serve our 500,000th wing and partner with local schools and nonprofits. Wing Snob is recognized as one of the top independent food businesses in DuPage County.

2024
1 Million Wings & Beyond

We celebrate serving our one-millionth wing. With a growing team and loyal community, Wing Snob enters its next chapter — same obsession with quality, bigger vision for the future.
